This show begins to explore the importance of building community—in relation to responding positively to shocks and as the basis for establishing resilient communities for the future. Jeb Brugmann’s deep insight and work with communities across the world serves as a ground bed for understanding issues involved and identifying key areas for action. Near term responsiveness and design for urban centers that offer foundations for resilience and adaptive capacity are center points of the conversation.
